The GIMEMA network also includes a number of standardized labs, spread across the entire national territory.
The centralisation labs perform the more complex molecular analyses, required to perform studies and are used to collect useful information that for example can be used to assess the effectiveness of new drugs or new therapeutic treatments tested directly on the population.
Thanks to the network, the samples of patients receiving treatment at clinics registered with GIMEMA are sent to labs throughout the country, depending on their pathology and required investigations.
